Small Hydropower Run-of-River
Together with a leading Philippine run-of-river hydropower developer and operator, a project has started to install one or more BlueCap Hydro Generator(s) in the tail race of one of its power plants. The power of the discharged water will be transformed into hydroelectricity, while at the same time the water quality will be measured. It is not only a low-cost way to increase the generation capacity of the power plant, but it also enlarges the window of operation during the dry season. BlueCap Hydro acts as a supplier, and it is foreseen that for this client alone more than 50 BlueCap Hydro Generators will be sold and installed.
